Mind, heart, both?

Does the heart rule the mind or does the mind rule the heart?

This question can be answered with full clarity only if we know what the mind is or where the mind is. The mind, as we know, is not the brain. In fact the heart may have its own 'brain'.

What is the mind then? Is it a set of collective value systems, beliefs and tendencies of the past or present population? Can we control the mind or does the mind control us. Inquire more, and in the meantime here is an insightful article on the Three Minds Framework.
